1. William Franklin DYSON was born on 12 Oct 1868 in Ironton, Sauk, Wisconsin; died on 3 Jun 1946 in Atkinson, Holt, Nebraska; was buried in Eastview Cemetery, Allen, Dixon, Nebraska.
2. Charles DYSON was born on 12 Jul 1870 in Ironton, Sauk, Wisconsin; died on 10 Jul 1942 in ,Union, South Dakota ; was buried in Concord Cemetery, Concord, Dixon, Nebraska.
3. Frederick DYSON was born on 22 Feb 1874 in Ironton, Sauk, Wisconsin; died on 5 Jan 1946 in Brunswick, Antelope, Nebraska.
4. Delbert DYSON was born on 15 Dec 1878 in Ironton, Sauk, Wisconsin; died on 3 Apr 1927 in Concord, Dixon, Nebraska.

Charles married Eliza Ann ALLEN on 30 Nov 1839 in ,Carroll, Illinois. Eliza (daughter of Ira ALLEN and Elizabeth POTTER) was born in 1822 in ,,New York; died in 1888 in Valton, Sauk, Wisconsin; was buried in Oaks Cemetery, Valton, Sauk, Wisconsin. [Group Sheet]

In this book Robert says that it is speculated
that William Dyson is a son of Zepheniah Dyson.

I am adding William E. Dyson to this family
based on this information that is found in
the following entry.

letters of Administration is granted
him on the said Estate of the said Dec.d
who gave Bond and Security according
to law and took the
Oaths prescribed by Law and he is
permitted to administer on said Estate."

William married Sarah Cyrena HUBBARD about 1802 in ,Montgomery, Maryland. Sarah (daughter of Jesse HUBBARD and Priscilla VAULX) was born on 30 Jun 1782 in ,Montgomery, Maryland; died on 25 Aug 1853 in York, Carroll, Illinois. [Group Sheet]

Information researched by Doris Forsyth.
"Dorotha was born to Capt. William Viers and
Mary Magruder. Her father, William named her
for HIS mother - her paternal grandmother. The
grandmother was Dorotha Hanley Viers, so there
were two women with the same name.The
grandmother was born a Hanley and married a
Viers. The baby girl was given the name of
Dototha Hanley at birth and her family name
was Viers.
The young girl, Dorotha, eventually married
Zephaniah Dyson and they had 4 children, one
girl, Anna, and 3 boys. Over the years, and
somewhere along the Dorotha died - at least
she was no longer a part of the life of
Zephaniah Dyson. Zephaniah was a Rev. War vet
and I've tried to do a DAR entry on him. The
fact that Zephaniah married a second time in
1811, when he no longer was a young man, and
died 3 years later, is recorded information.
What I am unable to find is what became of
Zephaniah's first wife - Dorotha Viers Dyson.
Census records often recorded her as "Dorraty",
since her name was NOT Dorothy, but one that
was hard to spell correctly - Dototha.
Zephaniah and Dorotha Hanley Viers Dyson's
daughter, Anna married David Reed in West
Virginia or across the river in Ohio. This
makes them my 5th gr. grandparents."

Jesse married Priscilla VAULX about 1770 in Denton, Caroline, Maryland. Priscilla was born in 1745 in Denton, Caroline, Maryland; died on 12 Jan 1819 in Greensboro, Caroline, Maryland. [Group Sheet]
