  Death: York Cemetery records, Thomson, Carroll, Illinois. (aged 71 years) Information from records of Marie Novan Dyson, (wife of Arthur Dyson and mother of Judy) start with William E. Dyson, 1779-1850. Information recorded in - First Edition 'WESTWARD, THE DYSONS' researched & compiled by Robert L. Dyson - 1985, page 9 & 16. In this book Robert says that it is speculated that William Dyson is a son of Zepheniah Dyson. I am adding William E. Dyson to this family based on this information that is found in the following entry. Tyler County Minute Books of County & Circuit Superior Court, 1815 - 1871 GS FHL Film #23848 P1 page 66 "Deborah Dyson widow and relic of Zephaniah Dyson Deceased who by the last Will and Testament of said Deceased was appointed Executrix of said Zephaniah Dyson - came into Court and refused to accept of said Exectrixship, and thereupon came William Dyson and on his motion letters of Administration is granted him on the said Estate of the said Dec.d who gave Bond and Security according to law and took the Oaths prescribed by Law and he is permitted to administer on said Estate."
